Shower inserts hallway bathroom 1BR Units

This is the shower insert I found. The Pro's is that it will easily hold soap like new. Cons #1 is that the clips in the front holding it to the steel insert appear to be fragile and could break if kids are not careful, and Cons #2 is that as you can see from the next picture is that there is an easy 3/4" distance from the back of the steel insert to the plastic soap tray. I placed a small bottle in the back of the plastic insert to show the true distance. The brand name is Franklin Brass model number EB1600. Cost is only a couple of bucks at Lowes or Home Depot.

All framing is non-bearing, metal stud. This insert replaces the original one in size and quality. This was the only brand we found that matched. Cost was about $17 at Home Depot.
